On January 1st, I mentioned that I had bought a couple of motorcycles. This was the first one I bought, a 2001 Intruder that I named “Roxie”. Though it was stunningly beautiful day out today with virtually not a cloud in the bright sky, it was bitterly cold with the temperature not really raising much more than freezing. As I sit and type this, it’s now only 27 degrees with the predicted low going down to about 19 degrees. (Thank God for our fireplaces!) The day was so beautiful though, it brought back the memories of only a month ago when I was riding both my bikes virtually every day. You really haven’t lived until you’re on a powerful bike like this snarling down Highway 10 at a hundred miles an hour! Though I’m not in the habit of “wishing my life away”, I truly wish it was a month or two from now when I can get back on the highway! Ride on!
