Palmer Ranch (VW)

In North America, the total population of lesser and greater scaup has been decreasing by an average of 150,000 birds a year. As lesser scaup make up about 89% of the total population, they are of particular research interest. The lesser scaup are winter visitors in southwest Florida.

Wonderful shot, Larry. It would be a shame to lose these birds.

Very nice details. Well done.
Sad to hear you are losing so many of these each year.
