A multiple exposure; added an arty edge with Nik's Color Efex Pro.
Did over a dozen of these while stomping around in Shenandoah National Park yesterday. The combination of the yellow/gold leaves and the dark tree trunks were very attractive. Shot by themselves, as opposed to a multiple exposure, resulted in images that lacked "punch". In situations like this I prefer the "camera painting" over the straight shot.
