You got it John; also, the white lines on the top create a strong thrust pointing to the vertex of the wires at the bottom. Mary Anne, I had considered your crop but it looked too tidy. I like a little visual messiness. -tv

Tom, leave as is. The crosswalk line not getting to the sidewalk is disturbing enough that it takes a while to see the cars/gas station on the other side ... makes it interesting. I would have agreed that the wires should go on top but now that your eye say it shouldn't I think I see why ... the post would be coming out of the gas station whereas here you have lots of separation space. Nice one, you put a real challenge in the challenge. John

You've nailed this one, Tom. I'd just like to crop off the sidewalk at the bottom of the top photo so that both white lines come to the bottom edge. Or is that too predictable?

A tv shot from the thumb already :-)
great entry, like the mind confusing arrangement of the lines!

Hmmmm.. guess I'm in a rut. Actually thought about not posting this but seemed to be too good for the topic to pass up. I tried the more logical wires on the top but it didn't work visually. Thanks for the comments. -tv

That's great! Same place, same shape, different lines. Shouldn't the electrical lines be on top? Or are you trying to be avant-garde?
