These are some shots I did from a small boat that we went whale watching on. We spent the better part of 2 or 3 hours among five pods of Pilot Whales. This pod had about 5 whales in it the biggest pod had 9 or 10 whales. The largest of the whales was around 7 meters (22 ft). At times we were close enough to reach out from the boat and touch them. They were not effected by our presence and were never threating.
