The New bridge just inaugurated a few months ago, directly linking Thailand and Laos, and bound to bring changes to this sleepy town I believe this is the 3rd of this kind, the 2 others being the one linking Non Khai and the Capital, Vienchang, and one in the south, at Pakse, completed too, I believe. Funds all came from abroad, mostly Australia and Japan.
