Lewis Cass Mann was fifth child of six born to Morgan Allen Mann & his wife Anna M. Pettit. He married Mary Elizabeth Cox and together had nine children. He migrated to Humboldt Nebraska in 1868 & lived there the rest of his life. He was a cattleman by trade. I believe him to have been named after the 1848 Presidential candidate, Senator Lewis Cass.
