Spotted these NYPD officers standing in front of this giant Victoria’s Secret ad which had been placed on a NYC skyscraper. NYPD is a very small police force compared to most. Only around 35,000 officers serve a city of over 8,000,000 people. The giant sign seemed an apt metaphor for the problems related to maintaining order in such a diverse social setting.
