The image is so evocative, and I am looking at it wondering why that is so...could it be the strange dark patch to the left of the column that has me so intrigued? This image is definitelty a compendium of elements that simply work cohesively and very well. Bravo!

Still, the light is illuminating, contrasting the dignified antiquity of the marble column with the shadowy intrusiveness of the cornered Bauhaus seats...one might rather stand...!
