Drought at the Mill Pond Dam ~ August 6

New London, Minnesota

We haven't had a really good rain since the first week of June. Consequently just about everything is drying up, including the former Crow River in New London...

Ordinarily there's a bit more of a flow:




By the way both of these exposures were for 1 second...

WOW! I bet that is an unusual sight for your area. That hot, dry spell has crept down to Oklahoma.
