This is also one of my favorites as the backlight and wind combined to show off the breeding plumage of this Great Egret. This particular bird was working very hard to find a mate and went through an elaborate dance shown on the next photo. I don't know whether all of this worked out for her, but as I watched I considered how it works for we human beings?
