But there are also oasis in the highland of Iceland. After driving for some time in the moonlike surroundings you come to a place like Laugafell, where there is plenty of vegetation and also hot water.
This is not a high temperature area but a low temerature area which means that the water here is around 40°C at the most. But in this place cold water is very rare, so that you might have to make do
with warm or hot water to drink if you are thirsty.
