Chlosyne lacinia adjutrix (aberrant) 'Scudders patch '

The Scudder's Patch is common in South Texas during the summer, and found anywhere sunflowers (thier primary larval foodplant)can be found. The adults are fond of many different composite flowers. This individual is an abberant where most of the orange patches are missing.
