Not much of a picture but a significant event none the less...
This is the last of our trees emerging from the flood waters. It is only small, perhaps 18" at most. It was planted some years ago as one of a row of Silky Oaks on our western boundary. This particular fellow was at the lowest point on the row and has been totally submerged for three weeks. I hope it survives as it has struggled compared with its mates. Hopefully the brown colouration is just silt on the leaves. Tomorrow I'll don the wellies and take a close look.
