The Peristyle

The Peristyle is a perfectly proportioned colonnade designed by Finnish-American architect Eliel Saarinen in 1942. In the
foreground stands a Chinese guardian lion (Fu-Dog), which came from a temple in
Chien Ting Fu Prefecture in Hopei.
