Speckled wood butterfly - Parage aegaria!

Found this little fella flying around; it took me 15 mins to finally get some piks when he sat still!
I also noticed his wings were still shriveled so I think he had only ust emerged from his chrysalis!

Thought I was having my cast off today, but its not healing very well and it had started to set in the wrong position so Ive another cast for another 3 weeks grr!

Great macro shot, Its such hard work to get a good one like this. Bad news about the delay with the cast, but must be better getting things fixed properly than a bad mend un-noticed. Good luck and fantastic picture great lighting.
