Humpback Whales Tail Fluke

As it prepares to go deep for food.

Spent the day on a whale watching tour from the San Francisco marina to the Farallone Islands
National Wildlife Refuge. About 27 miles from the San Francisco bay.

This was one of three whales feeding near the islands.

A bit of a rough ride to the islands, but I did not get seasick.
A much smoother trip back to the bay.
