Happy Mother's Day to all the mother's out there, and especially to my mom! Who has set a great
example for my family, whenever I talk about my mom, people always comment on how *outstanding* she
is. One way to describe it would be, her wild fire desire to learn never goes away and she's always
looking to improve and read, learn more every day, even at her age, she's reading John Grisham novel
that's a total second language to her, and she has the heart to finish it. I really don't need to
look that far to find inspiration nor guidance on how to approach my life and continue improving.
She walks everyday, early in the morning, and early evening, healthy mind and healthy body, and
she's a piano teacher as well, she loves what she does and wishes to keep teaching until her 70. But
best of all, my mom has such a funny sense of humor, for that I would really like to inherit that
from her, there is just so much wisdom that I have still yet to learn from her. All the life lessons
that she endured, and learned, just maybe I can write a book about it... for her.

In the pic, mom led the choir for a Taiwanese hymn, and wow, even though it was most different, I
still very much like it! Because I talked to mom in Taiwanese, speaking in it has become a very
comfortable tone, and a very intimate feel to it, even though Taiwanese sound pretty harsh to begin
with.

I took mom to Dana Point Harbor, and we ate our small lunch there near the beach and harbor, it was
a most relaxing sunny day, and I'm glad I was there to take mom out, as a representative for the
rest of my family for Mother's day. As for what I got for mom? Massages...last year I bought her
Total Woman Spa, Swedish massage, and she actually tried it last month, and I asked her how was the
50 min massage, and she replied by saying " You do a much better job, you should consider switching
professions." I laughed at that and jokingly said, maybe I should, if it's something I'm good at,
why not do it on the side? hehe. So I guess for Mother's day, I'll just make it a point to give mom
massages if she's watching TV.
