Wow, what an interesting dinner on last Friday...not sure how to describe it...but afterward went
to batting cage and man I sucked...couldn't catch up on the pitches and didn't feel confident
standing in the batter's box at all. Need more practice!

But what a nice quick getaway weekend this was to LV! Just there eating buffett and shopping at
outlets! I did buy 14 articles of clothing, hehe, I guess it's hard for me to resist a good deal
when I see one. But I'd rather spend it on clothe than on gambling, where I know what I will be
getting back is a sure thing. I didn't take that much pics cuz it was at night after the buffett
at RIO seafood, where I must've eaten like 13 lobsters together. And the next day, we started our
trip back after another buffett at Wynn's. I took quite a few more pics at LV, but somehow I liked
this one the best.

Can't believe I went straight to the bball court without going home and played 2.5 hrs of
basketball upon coming back from LV. I think my body is conditioned now, I feel like I can play
the whole day and not be sore, but only the natrual body chemical releasing the soothing buzz to
relax me. I'm back on 100 pushups a day as well, 50 in the morning and at least another 50 at
night. Good routines, good routines.

Watched quite a few movies recently...

Babel: Quite an interesting story, 4 stories that were intertwined together and it draws you in,
but somehow I felt it wasn't as poweful as I imagined it to be, when compared to Crash, I still
like crash better. But now I'm a fan of Rinko Kikuchi!

Volver: I'm not quite sure how to describe this Spanish film, except memorizing, but it did leave
me feeling like... hey that's it? Where's the conclusion? and some things were left unresolved it
seems, but was it??? But it's a very strong film in terms of imagery, and I loved it because of
that.

Caligula: Wanted to see what the fuss is all about in this 1981 film, and wow, I fast forwarded
through the whole movie, some pretty weird stuff in it, I wouldn't recommend this film if you're
easily offended. But I wanted to see how and what perhaps King Caligula would be like, just how
brutal he could be, at one scene he crashes a wedding, and then took the virginity from the bride
and the groom. You ask me... what do you mean? GO figure...

Born to fight: Tony Jaa from Thai Warrior was talking about this movie and sure I have to watch it
now! IT was full action packed for sure, and how they didn't kill anyone in this film is
amazing... I now have the most respect for Thai stuntsman...there was a scene in which the stunt
took place between the top of two moving freight trucks and one of the stunts man is thrown in
between the gap of two freight trucks...he could've died if the truck rolls on him...amazingly, it
didn't happen... some crazy stunts here...
