Bruce, your bw work continues to impress me very much. The title is also interesting and leads me to ask whether you can perhaps share with me/us which books these are/were? (Unfortunately, my Greek is lacking completely.) Perhaps the Book of Revelations from the Bible - thus also the "apocalypse" reference?
I decided in this Challenge to try (where possible of course) to add a comment along the lines of "anything I can think of to make it even better". So in that spirit my only minor comment would be that the text from the others side of the page perhaps comes through too strongly (?). I wondered if there is any "trick" which could have been used to avoid this? Or perhaps it is just the high contrast levels which made that inevitable?
