Eeyore's Birthday party is an event
at Pease Park that's great for people
watching. I love this picture because
everyone in it seems to be watching
someone -- well, except for Carl. I
especially like the expression on the
woman's face, especially in juxtaposition
to everyone else completely ignoring Carl.

For those of you who don't know Carl,
that thing in his mouth is something he
uses to support the flower. The bottom
of the stem rests on that holder while
he twirls the flower by moving his head
from side to side. He chooses a flower
with a stem that has a slight curve to
it so that it's off balance enough that
moving it from side to side makes it
twirl faster.
