This silversword outplanting exclosure contains silverswords grown from the wild bog population, but is in a different bog to keep the nursery grown plants separate from the purely wild population. Note the intact vegetation inside the exclosure, and the mud and ragged tufts of grass outside. Most of this bog is now a pig wallow and many areas look far worse than the foreground. A few of the silverswords are visible as the bright grey-green plants inside the exclosure.
