75 of our 6th, 7th and 8th graders are participating in Circus of the Kids. The Circus group comes to the school for 3 weeks and the students are able to do circus acts through their PE classes. Students who are interested sign up to be circus stars. They practice for about 15 hours and then do 3 public performances. This is one of my 6th grade students high above the "big top" in our gym on the Spanish Web. It is amazing to watch their confidence grow as they learn these amazing feats from fire eating to aerial events.
