The Dandenong Ranges on fire.

Somebody was being stupid by the look of the size of the smoke plume. There was second smaller fire at the other end of the ranges.

Thankfully the nights have been cold, around 10c or less in the ranges so the fire could be contained. Also the weather has been very calm and mild.

I was wrong, it was a controlled burn off.
