I received some queries about how to get to the site of the old Warfield College. This Google Earth image shows the location of the Warfield College ruins. Note the road "College Road". Unfortunately, this dead-end residential road is very narrow and there really is no place to park. You can park in Freedom Park and hike to the site. I found it easier to park in downtown Sykesville, hike along the railroad tracks (see other gallery pictures), then hike up to the site through a small valley. For those of you who are GPS savvy, the coordinates are: 39 21' 32.7" N, 76 57' 35.5" W (Degrees Minutes Seconds) or 39.3591N, 76.9599W (decimal degrees).
