Bufo bufo. See http://www.herpetofauna.co.uk/common_toad.htm This pair became trapped in a gap in a kerb while on migration to Dunsapie Loch in Holyrood Park. They were rescued by the Historic Scotland Ranger Service as part of their "Toadwatch" work.
