Scottish Wildlife - Arthur's Seat (Holyrood Park)

Based in the centre of Edinburgh in southern Scotland, Arthur's Seat and the adjoining Dudingston Loch form a remarkable haven for Scottish wildlife. Arthur's Seat itself is an eroded volcanic crater and cone 251 metres high with cliffs, shrubs, lochs, marshes and meadows. Dudingston Loch and its surrounding reed beds lies to the south.
