While in Vegas for the 2007 WPPI show, I conned Ben Pancoast into going out to the Red Rock Canyon.
We didn't scope the spot ahead of time and really didn't get the shot I was looking for
but at the last minute set-up this shot for a photo of Ben in order to play with some iTTL flash.
After taking the shots of Ben, he gave it three tries for shots of me.
Here's the set-up: it was getting bright so I set the shutter for a deeper sky. I then set the aperture for
a decent flash distance and had two SP800s aimed at me. We had the D200 on a tripod with the pop-up flash set to no TTL output but to trigger 2 SB800s.
Ben started the timer and then ran to my right and held the two SB800s high into the air to give me some rembrant style lighting.
