St Chads

Cheshire

St Chads Church 1689, was built literally in the fields, a timber framed church stood on the site prior to that.
St Chads has not been fully used since 1863 when a much larger Victorian Church was built half a mile away alongside the nearest road.
St Chads is on the route of "The Sandstone Trail" a 34 mile hike across beautiful Cheshire countryside.

How magical to capture the sunrays as the beam down on the church!

That's the spirit, John. Nice work and interesting history to go with it. +V
