First Tamron Pics

It was a dull cool overcast day with rain forecast, but I had been ORDERED to go out and take fotees with my new Tamron 17-50 lens. My first impression when first handling the lens was most favourable, it looked and felt so much better than the plastic kit lens that came with the camera.
So...there were a few cock ups of course, they are inevitable...aren't they.??? The first pic in the gallery was taken at f2.8, luckily i'd taken 4, so merged the house in focus, the dog in focus, the sky and it looks reasonable.! The church shots are awful something needs doing with the sky. Not exactly a day to be taking fotees, but all things considered I was impressed with the lens and am pleased with it. It is a vast improvement on the kit lens.
Ok Ok the dog is from the next frame.
