St Chads

Cheshire

St Chads Church 1689, was built literally in the fields, a timber framed church stood on the site prior to that.
St Chads has not been fully used since 1863 when a much larger Victorian Church was built half a mile away alongside the nearest road.
St Chads is on the route of "The Sandstone Trail" a 34 mile hike across beautiful Cheshire countryside.

Beautiful country side John, great photos and narrative, I just envy all these hikers over there!
