A near full moon watches over this desert crossing in the Mojave Desert, located southeast of Cadiz California. The most modern man made item in the photo is the stop sign the cross bucks date back over 60 plus years reinforced once from some careless driver. The track or rails below and still in operation today, the steel was forged in 1926 and layed later that year along this line that starts here at Cadiz and continues into Parker Az and further in to Arizona.
