who stole spring?

Yesterday morning was beautifully Spring like
the hills were alive to the joyous call of lapwings, curlews and oystercatchers
this morning was fog n freezing.
The plaintiff cry of a single lapwing reflecting the feeling of isolation
Brrrrrrr!

I've had guests all weekend, so missed the eclipse, and most of the good weather, and erm the fog.
Saw lots of rain though. Didn't hear any plaintif cries of lapwings either :-(
