Tried to capture a low light shot using this A700 at ISO200. Without a tripod with me, I put the A700 on a rail nearby to stabilize the shot.
The outcome is not very good indeed, mainly due to the noise involved. This shot was finally processed using Neatimage and Photoshop for better result.
My input is that the A700 is a good camera for daylight shots only. The high ISO performance is rather marginal.
