Here is a look at one of our winter resident birds here in town. Growing up and living in the western U.S. Anna's hummers have been a species that has always been around for as long as I can remember. Probably the first bird I ever stopped to really look at. Hummingbirds are great ambassadors for conservation as they stimulate people's interest in nature and get them to look more closely into their surroundings. Not to mention, they are just so darn cute!
