Old manual focus 50mm f/1.4 purchased off eBay from Pierre Rousseau. Lots of character and well worth
the effort to manual focus. Meters on D200 and F4.

based on your results with this lens and a few others, I just hit the submit button for an excellent+ copy for 172 bucks! Awesome image quality...something indefinable (not strictly related to sharpness) that modern lenses lack....I bought an old 200mm f4Q on a lark and was shocked when it outperformed my 180ED and my 85f1.4...so I decided to check out the 50....thanks
