Cool photo that needs some looking at before it unfolds.

Perfect nostalgic medium to paint a reflection like this on. Good eye! Love the chrome.

Well seen, David...the reflection in the chrome and your choice of crop are very interesting and effective. I really like the clear details and shapes here. Wow, 15 cents...that's nostalgic. As Mike noted, a slightly more "panoramic style" might compliment your image even more here...might be worth experimenting with. Good idea...nice shot, David. MFC

Thanks for the advice. I tried "polishing" the chrome a bit and got rid of the whitewall that was showing (missed that after all the tries to make this look right). My thought to keep the black as is, was to make sure the burger sign was following the rule of thirds. I'll play with it some more. As for the right-read reflection, that was one massive curvy bumper!

Interesting and very striking, David. I'd be inclined to clone out that white corner, lower right, though, as well as what appear to be some stain spots in the chrome where the sky is reflected in it. While you're at it, I wonder if it might look better with some of the black foot cropped off full width, to give it more of a panoramic appearance which I think would complement the optical distortions. BTW you've got me tossed as to what produced the right-read (as reflected) component of the image at the lower left. It's presumably a compound reflection, but I can't work out off what! ;-) -- Mike
