I was the senior YN1 in the class and as the class leader I was responsible for marching our class to and from different locations on the training center every day. We were probably coming back from the athletic field in this photo. The males joined back up with us in this photo. Virtually all of them were new to the Coast Guard Reserve and still hadn't been issued full uniform types, thus the civilian clothing. Due to my previous four years active duty, including three years as the sole yeoman at two different units, the administration had me teach some classes most days. We had a great group of people in the class and we all had an enjoyable two weeks.
