For those of you that aren't familiar with our Tuesday night routine,
I'll give you the cliffnotes version.
My wife and daughter help out at a local homeless shelter from 6-10pm.
They provide dinner and a warm place to stay for the night.
In addition, they also do their laundry and pack them a lunch for the next day.
So Tuesday nights are a good night for me and my son to spend some quality time together.
Just us men.
We had just gotten back from our dinner at Subway and a quick trip to the grocery store.
Ian has his jammies on and is ready for some playtime with some of his new Christmas toys,
and we'll probably wind down the evening with a DVD or maybe flip on the hockey game.
This shot was taken with my 580ex flash on the off camera cord and being held in my left hand.
I've been wanting to practice this technique for some time, so it seemed like a good night to try.
