When good models go bad
1.9.07

Ian has been putting up with flash photography since he was 10 seconds old.

Some times I wonder if it's going to give him glaucoma or something weird one day.

After wearing him out on a highly experimental lighting set up that didn't work out as I had planned,
all I had left was a frustrated model.

But being the trooper that he is, agreed to one last pose for the night.

The photography lesson learned tonight...

...don't experiment on the hired help.

Practice on a mannequin head or something.

That lesson cost me a soft taco and a side of nachos. =)

Lighting is a strobe fired into a silver umbrella set above and camera left.

You know John, that is a pretty cheap price to pay! Be happy you got that last shot, you ought to try it with a cat. Oh, wait, you did! You have two of the best looking models of any site, but of course, they are our grandkids!
