dec 30 eggs
by noearlybird

I scramble my eggs and throw in hash brown potatoes and a few breakfast sausage links. The kids love this on the weekend (when working we grab toast out the door on the run, mom does not cook).

The dog thought that I was very strange upon putting this plate upon the table and then pointing my camera at it. He so wanted a bite.

I remember Dawn's comments about food stock photography and I probably sharpened this too much, just got Focalblade and am not sure how it works yet.

Anyway the eggs were delicious and soon gone, the dog got to lick the plate.

Good catch of the steam rising.

I agree with the others that the steam really adds something to this shot. Paul

I'm so hungry now -- darn and no eggs in the house. :)

Great yummy texture, seems to jump out of the plane of the photo. And the steam is perfect. (Have you heard the joke about the dog, Coldwater? "As clean as Coldwater can get 'em.")

I really like the composition here, and the background complements your image very nicely. The way that you have captured the steam is exquisite.

So cool! Or hot, as the case may be.
I bet it was cool by the time you stopped photographing and actually ATE it!
Stunning capture of the steam rising.
(With MY luck, it would have steamed up my lens...)
Way to go!

Good shot especially the steam - adds interest. Not sure if selecting the yellow in CTRL U dialogue box and sliding the saturation right would pop the eggs a bit more?

Love the steam rising from the dish
At this size, it doesn't look over sharpened
