I really wanted to do this on blue.
I went out searching for a blue plate special (i.e., on sale) this afternoon.
I ended up at Pier One and all I could find in blue was a ceramic trivet.
I thought that would work, but alas, the egg just ran off it.
(I didn't say "Alas!" when this happened.)
I had to settle for black.
