Hobbies: Travel, art, computers (graphics and multimedia), wine & food, and learning new things.

Favorite Photographic Subjects: Anything and everything that is eye-catching or soul stirring or wonderful in the light.

Cameras: Oly gear is a C-8080WZ with the FL-40 flash and two old, beat up but terrific small D-490Zs. Mostly a history with Nikon 35mm gear with a couple Mamiya's thrown in (both 35mm and 2-1/4" square format). Will eventually go dSLR but haven't found just the right camera yet for that kind of cash outlay!

Advice to Newbies: Develop a sense of what you're taking a picture of and why, and then take the picture! Your eye will continue to evolve. Use your computer to find the best crops (you might be surprised how many good images can come out of "tossers". Experiment! Have fun!
