We only got one Queen caterpillar. It seemed like the Queen(s) were laying often and should have had lots of eggs. The monarchs did much better for some reason. This is the caterpillar that later became our "new" Queen. The butterflies mimic the Monarch's appearance and the caterpillars are also quite similar as are the eggs, the chrysalis is probably different in some way but I unable to find any differences.
