Well I wasn't going to post this.. way too far away.. but shows I really need a 400mm lens..

Perhaps... 400mm only gets you twice as close--and often that isn't close enough. Birds are tough. Birds are why people spend weeks in a blind just hoping for a shot... Birds are why $10,000+ glass was invented... This is a nice image in itself.

I like the layers of grass, water then grass again. The bird is a bonus.
