I have had another really hard-working day today – I’ve been able to tick off the bathroom ceiling, the lobby walls and am almost in the position where I can ‘dress’ the lobby – this is good. It means the rocking chair that’s normally out there can go back and therefore won’t be clogging up our sitting room any more, as can the table and plants which are also normally domiciled there. This will be a major leap forward for us.
There has also been a lot of positive stuff in the bedroom (ha ha) – despite the plaster still being damp and therefore un-paint-able. The woodwork has all had a coat of paint and the walk-in wardrobe has also been ‘done’.
This cheesecake with raspberries is my penultimate cheesy shot and boy will I be glad when the last one is done. I must say, I made this cheesecake solely to photograph – I don’t normally make ‘puddings’ because I don’t like them so I just plucked the recipe out of a Nigella Lawson book and made it. I had a little taste and boy – is it good – that is if you like chocolate cheesecake. So, DM has a treat and so do our neighbours because even if DM eats it until he’s sick, he won’t finish it so I have given half of it away!
Tick, tick, tick – at last we make progress.
Last year, was also food - an egg and soldiers tribute to Georgie Best - (E for B and ....)
