That's my friend Jen and her baby Sophie. They were posing in the front porch of her sister's apartment. I brought along a backdrop, but it's lit with window light (my favorite kind of light for indoor shooting). We had a really nice visit together and I hope my friend is happy with the portraits taken that day. I used one of my favorite smaller lenses - the 50mm 1.8 (only $160 CAD) - it turns into a perfect 80mm portrait lens (and super sharp) on a digital camera.
