Stephen's Challenge #9 submission proved to be an almost futile pursuit. The submission picture seemed vaguely familiar as though I remembered seeing it in the recent past. By the time I remembered the location weeks later and using the Internet to verify it, the sculpture was gone when I went to take my proof of discovery pictures. It seems that the turtle sculpture and other animal sculptures were created for the purpose of being auctioned off for charity in the Germantown section of the city. They had been on display along Germantown Avenue for months and months. Unfortunately, I arrived to take my pictures the day after the auction and almost all of the sculptures were gone already. I sent Stephen a picture of the empty plot of grass where the turtle once stood.
