Woodframe

Borders and fancy presentations are something that make an image look nicer and can add but also detract from the image that you are presenting. As a rule of thumb, do not complicate your borders and frames more than the image within the frame. Try to keep a balance that favours the work that you are presenting.

Just look at the great masters: A complicated oil painting will suit a fancy wood carved frame with many scrolls. A simple modern art painting looks nicer in a plain frame and possibly with a large plain mount. How to achieve this will be discussed here:

Open your desired image in Photoshop


Preset Photoshop Actions

1- Open the Actions palette (Alt-F9). Choose Window > Actions.
2- Choose Photo Frames from the Actions palette menu.
3- Choose one of the photo frame actions from the list.
4- Click the Play Action button.
