With the dark skies this weekend, me and my friend went to the Loma Prieta ridge to find this
comet.
A green fuzzy in the binoculars, here is the comet next to the 4th-magnitude star Alkalurops in
the constellation Bootes.
The Big Dipper is very low above the hill to the right in this picture.
Camera was mounted on a Equatorial Mount.
Inset picture was taken with the Sigma lens at 300mm, 2 min exposure, iso 1600.
Six pictures stacked together.
